Liverpool's Star Offers Apology to Squad, Reveals Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has shared that Salah apologised to the team after the uproar from his televised remarks.

Salah was left out from a key Champions League match subsequent to voicing frustrations and suggesting his relationship with manager had deteriorated.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I'm sorry.’”
The manager has chosen not to disclose on whether he was apologised to from the 33-year-old forward.
Moving Forward
He emphasized that the team's response stayed normal. “He was his usual self, he had a big smile on his face and everybody was exactly the same with him,” the midfielder explained.
Jones also implied that a player's desire to start is preferable. “I get that there are certain ways you can go about things,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just be on the bench, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
Team Form
The team's performance have stayed unbeaten in the games following the interview fallout. He feels the forward's comments were not intended to cause disruption.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, the source has been from a place of caring,” he finished. “It's behind us and we’re gelling well as a team, performing and starting to win games.”
