This January recruitment period proves to be a time of feverish rumour and potential big-money moves. Several prominent players find themselves linked with transfers out of their current clubs. Here is a look at some of the key names who might be on the move in January.

A. Semenyo

Despite Ghana's inability to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations, which has left the player available, reports suggest a significant move is imminent. The 25-year-old possesses a contract featuring a sizeable buy-out clause active for a two-week period in early January. Latest developments point to the Premier League champions are now the frontrunners for his signature. The English centre-back has continued to excel for Crystal Palace despite a previous transfer to Liverpool falling through.
